Winner of Homegrown To Hollywood Announced

Beirut-band Lazzy Lung have won triplew.me's Makshoof Music opportunity 'Homegrown to Hollywood' it was announced this week.

After a longer than expected judging process due the sheer number and quality of entries, triplew.me collated all the results last week to arrive at Lazzy Lung winning the competition.

The short list of 15 acts included some amazing talent and site Editor Paul Kelly admitted it was difficult to have just one winner in this piece on triplew.me.

Overall, the winners were chosen by a mix of public votes, song-writing and interaction with the platform - all very important ingredients in being an international recording star.

The band will receive:

• Tickets to LA;
• Tour of Capitol Records and a meet and greet;
• A gig; and
• All the benefits that brings!
